TCP Plug-in

The TCP plug-in is responsible for transporting the messages between the NODES.

devel.one-NODES are connected together by opening a TCP connection to each other (LINK). For this purpose, entries are made in the configuration in which TCP servers are opened and connections are established. For the TCP server port it looks like this:

There are similar entries for the TCP clients:

Any number of entries of this type can be made.

This allows you to quickly set up a meshed network of devel.one-NODES with redundant connections. If a NODE fails, the rest of the network can be reached via the other LEFT links.

Reconnect

Clients can be configured to automatically reconnect at intervals when a connection is lost.

Here, the NODE attempts to establish a connection to its target NODE every 5 seconds. With this procedure, each NODE can be terminated at any time. When you restart the NODES, all NODES will reconnect. The order in which the NODES start up does not matter either.

SSL/TLS

Secure SSL/TLS connections can be used for the connection between two adjacent NODES.

TrustStore and password are transferred via the JAVA™ System Properties.
